Privacy
This site sets no cookies, has no accounts and does not store your location or your searches.
Your location
- "Use my location": your browser asks for permission first. If you agree, your coordinates are rounded to about 100 metres in your browser and sent in the page address to our server, which uses them once to find nearby stations. We do not store them.
- Approximate area: on the home page, Cloudflare (our host) tells our server your approximate town based on your internet connection, so we can show nearby prices. It is used for that page view only and not stored.
- Postcode or town searches: our server looks the place up with postcodes.io. Your IP address is not sent to postcodes.io. We do not store your search.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies or local storage and does not track you across sites (Cloudflare Web Analytics). We also run our own copy of Umami, a cookieless analytics tool, on our own server to count page views and a few clicks (searches, "Use my location" and Directions). It does not store your IP address. We see totals such as page views, referrers and countries, not individuals.
Hosting
The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes requests (including your IP address) to deliver pages and protect the site, under Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not keep request logs.
If you email us, we keep your message and address only to reply and to fix what you reported.
